CAUTION KITES |

Introducing the 2011 Spitfire, our latest SLE C-shaped hybrid that's guaranteed to make you fall in love with Caution all over again. Our R&D team was so confident that the 2011 Spitfire will be one of those epic models that offers our customers break through performance, ease of use, and durability, that we named it after our classic C-kite that first got Caution it's notoriety for durability and performance in the old school days. The 2011 Spitfire blends our two kite platforms for 2010 into one well balanced, high performance wing that delivers super stable "no way this thing's falling out of the sky" flying characteristics merged with fast turning and across the window flying speed. In terms of construction, the 2011 Spitfire continues in the legacy of Caution's bullet proof design, with some additional features to increase performance and durability. Check out the 2011 Spitfire, the flame continues strong.

Ideal for super windy days or smaller riders on solid wind days. Fast and responsive for waveriding

Most common smallest kite, solid range, precision handling in all wind conditions; a must have

Delivers mind blowing range, super stable and quick turning flying characteristics

More power than last year's 11M, with same fast turning speed, efficient kiters can get a lot of power out of this kite

Team riders were really impressed with this borderline big kite with low end pull, still quick turning response and impressive depower/highend

Light wind weapon, ideal for kiting on standup paddle boards and ideal for the larger riders in lighter spots
The 2011 Spitfire features our new Tapered Strut Tips which offer a cleaner airodynamic release from the trailing edge, and reduced material. The trailing edge is reinforced with non-stretch "dacron" to maintain leach tension while giving the kites added durability and longevity.
The single inflation system makes inflation quick and reliable, featuring two-ply extra-wide distribution hoses, optimized for UV and wear-proof durability, pvc valve collars for durability and valve stability. The Spitfire features zipper entries at the forward section each strut, making bladder replacement much easier.
The Spitfire uses a low friction plastic chain block to travel the front and rear spectra bridals. Without working parts or metal pins, this block is guaranteed to handle high loads and maintain minimal friction. Pigtails are also spectra based and feature pull tabs for quick derigging.
The rear pigtails offer three settings; allowing adjustments in personal preference for bar tuning and sheeting angle. The rear bridal attachments gives riders five bridal settings to adjust bar pressure, steering speed and overall feel.
The single inflation system features a dime sized deflation valve and a standardized inflation valve. The deflation valve features a double overlapping velcro lock, while the inflation valve features a velcro latch as well as a shock-chord fastener to prevent accidental openings on impacts.
The Spitfire uses quad gusset reinforcements at key load seems in the leading edge, using the highest quality dacron. The leading edge is closed with Caution's durable seam technology, and protected with bumper protection; which make the Spitfires built to withstand the everyday abuses of kiting.
