CAUTION KITES |

Introducing the 2012 Spitfire, our latest C-Shape SLE high depower kite designed to deliver all around mind blowing performance. The Spitfire offers industry leading performance, reliability, and impressive durability. Caution has 13 years of experience in kite design and construction, and this experience is distilled in the 2012 Spitfire to build one of the best kites on the market.

The core design principles behind the Spitfire is to design a kite that responds to the riders bar input immediately with no lag, delay or wind up. The Spitfire delivers lightning fast response and turning speed which helps kiters place the kite exactly where they want it when they need it. The 2012 Spitfire is one of our best kites as of yet, so check out our specs and videos.

Ideal for super windy days or smaller riders on solid wind days. Fast and responsive for waveriding

Most common smallest kite, solid range, precision handling in all wind conditions; a must have

Delivers mind blowing range, super stable and quick turning flying characteristics

More power than last year's 11M, with same fast turning speed, efficient kiters can get a lot of power out of this kite

Team riders were really impressed with this borderline big kite with low end pull, still quick turning response and impressive depower/highend
The Spitfire features super short leading edge bridals which deliver quick response and a crisp feel when sheeting in and out. Short bridals prevent unwanted tangles when relaunching the kite in the water, particularly in the waves, or when self launching on land.
New for 2012, the Spitfire features strut tip guards on the leading edge and first strut. Strut tip guards help ensure your flying lines do not get caught between the canopy and the strut on self launch and relaunch situations. A small bridge of webbing ensures your kite will launch properly everytime.
The Spitfire features two attachment points for the rear bridal. The redesigned wingtips deliver greater strength allowing for a simpler bridal options and overall quicker steering response. Caution's chain blocks handle high loads and maintain minimal friction without the complexity of working parts or metal pins.
Each strut comes with a zipper access points for easy strut replacement and are attached to the leading edge using our simple but extremely durable connection which ensures air frame rigidity for performance and delivers Caution's legendary durability when being rolled in the waves.
New for this year, we changed the front bridal attachment by adding a spectra extender with a larger attachment knot which makes it easy to switch between the two front bridal settings. It comes stock in the forward position for range but can be moved back to shift to lesser bar pressure.
Caution's unique advantage over other brands is that we operate our own internal kite repair center which has allowed us to keep constant watch over the quality and durability of our kites. This allows us to see which construction methods work the best for our customers and ensures the longevity and durability of our kites.
For 2012 we made an effort to ensure that the lettering in shape and size allowed our riders to make out the size of our kites from long distances. When you get to the beach, you will immediately know kite sizes of Caution riders and you can make a quick educated choice of kite size and get out on the water faster.
