After 13 years of producing some of the most durable kitesurfing products in the world, Caution Kites is now offering a direct pricing deal for a limited time. Head of marketing, Brendan Richards, said “We kind of sat down and looked at our business model, and although we’ve been getting rave reviews from our core customers for the last four years, with product that’s really ahead of the curve, we just don’t have the exposure in other markets.” As a result, Caution is taking the pricing we typically reserve to our core customers and extending it to the rest of the world. It’s kind of a win win because, our customers are getting the best deal possible, we spend less time haggling over prices and we all get to spend more time at the beach.

SOME EARLY QUOTES ON THE 2012 SPITFIRE
“The bar pressure is near perfect . . ”
“The kite is rock solid in the air and the response is crisp and really sweet and a little faster and more direct than last year and there is a little more kick in the turns as well.”
“The jumps seemed pretty floaty . . .”
“The stronger wind handling is brilliant and even in the gusty conditions that we had yesterday the kite was just rock solid in the air. I have never flown anything that has quite the same combination of stability, dependability AND performance. Brilliant job guys!”
“The QR does now release and re-engage much easier, so that’s good, and the swivel system also seems to work much better than before, so great improvements all round.”
Kelly Strachan earns 4th at the Kite Surf Pro World Tour after 3 days of kiting with 15 to 20knot winds and five to seven-foot waves.
After four days on wind and wave hold, Kelly dominated her first heat with a combined score of 11.4, coming out with a super strong performance given Pacasmayo is the second competition of Kelly’s professional kitesurfing career. In Kelly’s second heat she went neck to neck with Hawaii’s Adriana Harlan but came out on top with her smooth style, and aggressive riding. In Kelly’s semi-final heat she lost by a bone chilling .04 points, putting her in the loser’s bracket, going up against accomplished kitesurfer and contest veteran Kirsty Jones.
All of us at Caution would like to congratulate Kelly on her awesome performance, and look forward to her next stop on the KSP World Tour.
